TEA JOURNAL : HARNEY & SONS MOTHER'S BOUQUET FLORAL TEA

Wonderfully floral

I have been really curious to try out Harney & Sons Mother's Bouquet floral tisane. It's a caffeine free floral blend of fragrant rose petals, chamomile, cornflowers, and orange peel. The description sounds delightfully lovely.

So when it arrived in the mail, I was ecstatic. The tea comes in a tin of 20 luxurious pyramid silken sachets, filled with loose floral bits. I finally tried it a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. It smelled divine. The aroma lingered even after the cup of tea is finished, which was nice.

The wonderful florals inside the silken sachets! Bits of rose petals, chamomile, cornflowers, and orange peel. I loved how colourful, crisp, and fresh they looked in the sachets.

I had it with about shy of a teaspoon of sugar, and it tasted wonderful. It's light, and fragrant, with just the tiniest tinge of orange taste - which is absolutley perfect and most appreciated because overwhelmingly sour, fruity notes is not really my cup of tea (pun intended).

This floral tisane would be a perfect treat after a long day at work, or on cool rainy days at home. You'll feel very pampered with the fragrant rose petal aroma wafting from your hot cup of tea. Best enjoyed in a pretty teacup.
